LIGHT CONTROLLER

Developed in early 2025, this prototype uses a touch sensitive handwoven kilim as a wireless controller for light. The kilim communicates with the lighting system over
Wi-Fi, allowing individual touch points to switch the light on and off and activate preselected colours.

Touching multiple areas simultaneously combines their colour values, allowing new colours to be mixed directly through interaction with the textile.
